Memory Quilt

Canvas print, 2011 – Ongoing project.
150cm x On-Going.

It takes a village to raise a child.

Memory Quilt, a fragment presented in 2014 at KOUTA Galery. Poikilo Museo, Finland.

Memory Quilt is born out of the concept of identity and social construct, where it was believed that our quotidian interactions and cultural exposure shape our sense of self.

Over 300 people were contacted and photographed, from family members to acquaintances from Primary School up to the year 2011.

Every decade, the growth of the quilt will be updated and documented.
