The entire cycle of touch interaction goes from idle to active.

After a long hiatus, touch (Interactive Installation, 2020), the first collaboration with my husband Martin Bircher, was showcased in KOUTA’s 10th Anniversary Exhibit at Poikilo Museo in Kouvola, Finland. You can have a sneak peek behind the process in this blog post.

At the time, we could not imagine that the concept of touch and sensation would take a new meaning in the era of social distancing a few weeks later when the pandemic was declared. Which left me wondering…
