Collaboration with Fausto Vargas for the Photosíntesis exhibition.
Family portraits and dynamics documentation.
In late 2007, the municipal cultural centre’s (CECUT) curator, Abril Castro, proposed pairing young photographers from two collectives in Baja. Lúmina from Tijuana, which I belonged to, and Clickaphoto from Rosarito. I was paired with the talented Fausto Vargas, and we discovered that both shared a fascination for identity and relationships. We had six months to do research, get to know each other and plan our shoots. We decided to photograph different families; I took the following images: snippets of the result.
