She is a born and raised Mexican visual artist residing now in Inkeroinen, Finland. And a full-time lecturer at the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences XAMK in the Culture Department.
A lecturer since 2006, her courses have focused on Visual Language, Visual Culture, Digital Culture, Visual Storytelling, Audiovisual Language and Design, and 3D Character and Environment Creation
Has a BA degree in Social Communications with an emphasis in Cultural Studies and Media, and an MA in Visual Arts, concentrating her studies on Photography.
Intrigued by social interactions, mass culture, her surroundings and upbringing, photography and art have become a gateway for understanding others and herself.
